Unusual beaches of Spain
There are many wonders in Spain, even the beaches are unusual. Some are completely hidden under water at high tide, others are hidden among the coastal cliffs. On some beaches, sand is of an unusual black color, and there are those that, like two drops of water, are similar to the beaches of the Caribbean.
We suggest you to get acquainted with the most unusual Spanish beaches.
1. Gulpiyuri Beach (Asturias)
Gulpiyuri (Asturias)
In the north of Spain, between the small towns of Ribadesella and Llanes, is located one of the smallest beaches in the world, Gulpiyuri, recognized as a natural attraction. Its width is only 50 m – a real beach in miniature. But it is unique not only for its size. The fact is that Gulpiyuri is a sea beach, but is not located on the sea coast. As a result of the erosive effect of the sea on coastal cliffs, karst craters formed. During high tide, the funnel is filled with sea water through the opening between the rocks. Continue reading

The life of these people was little changed by the “benefits of civilization” who came here, the Ligurian fishermen living in the “Five Lands” have largely preserved the customs and traditions of their ancestors.

Carnival in Dusseldorf
The carnival in Dusseldorf combines respect for ancient rituals and an absolutely crazy approach to exhibit design.
A unique feature of the carnival is a complete refusal to comply with the rules of decency and political incorrectness. It was such an extraordinary approach to organizing the event that the carnival in Dusseldorf became famous.
Artists publicly mock politicians and public figures of a world level, completely not worrying about the possible consequences. Great sense of humor, good weather and excellent beer create a unique holiday atmosphere and general fun. Continue reading

Temples in the chalk caves of Pridonya
On the territory of the Voronezh, Volgograd, Belgorod, Rostov regions of Russia, Donetsk and Lugansk regions of Ukraine, the Cretaceous Mountains belt is located in the Don basin and its largest tributary – the Seversky Donets. Departing into the earth’s thickness to a depth of 50 meters, the upper layers of the Cretaceous deposits are mixed with the earth, so grass, shrubs and trees grow on the Cretaceous mountains.
Soft chalk is great for creating caves, so ancient hermit monks settled in the chalk mountains. Later, Orthodox churches began to be built in the thickness of the chalk mountains. We will talk about the most interesting of them in this article.
