Marianske Lazne
Unlike other resorts, Marianske Lazne offers treatment for a wide range of diseases. This is primarily due to the fact that the chemical composition of the sources are very different from each other. The following diseases are treated here:
Diseases of the kidneys and urinary tract: cystolithiasis, urolithiasis, postoperative conditions of the kidneys, ureters and prostate, non-specific chronic inflammation of the kidneys and ureters, pyelonephritis, chronic prostatitis, urethritis, prostovesiculitis, artificial kidney, single kidney, conditions after kidney transplantation.
Respiratory diseases: asthma, chronic bronchitis, chronic diseases of the upper and lower respiratory tract, including chronic pharyngitis, laryngitis, sinusitis, rhinitis, allergic respiratory diseases, including allergic rhinitis, postoperative treatment of the upper and lower respiratory tract and lungs in the stage of compensation, conditions after repeated pneumonia of a non-tuberculous nature, the effects of damage to the respiratory tract with corrosive irritating substances. Karlovy Vary
Karlovy Vary is a spa town in the west of the Czech Republic, located in the historic Bohemia region at the confluence of the Ohře and Tepla rivers, 120 km from Prague, 45 km from the German border. The population is 53,990 people (2010).
Karlovy Vary (another name – Carlsbad) is a medical resort, due to the presence of hot springs of mineral water with healing properties. Currently in Karlovy Vary 13 healing springs come to the surface. There is also source number 14 – so jokingly called the local strong liquor Becherovka.
The main natural healing factor in Karlovy Vary is thermal sodium carbonate sulfate, sodium hydrogen carbonate containing compounds of calcium, potassium, magnesium, iron, lithium, bromine and other substances. Mineralization up to 7 g / l. According to the chemical composition of water, all sources are approximately the same and differ mainly in the content of carbon dioxide (from 0.37 to 0.75 g / l) and temperature. If you plan to travel the Czech Republic by car, be sure to put in your wallet the rights, vehicle registration certificate and green insurance. The latter can be bought right at the border.
On a note:
speed in the village no more than 50 km / h;
day and night, turn on the dipped headlights;
holy trams – we let through, without hesitation, like pedestrians;
children sit in a car seat or booster.
Most Czech motorways are paid. To travel on such roads you need a vignette, which you can buy at any gas station. Only this should be done before entering the paid site. Otherwise, a fine of 200 euros. The cost of the vignette for 10 days is 11 euros, for 1 month 17. Continue reading
